Dressed in new clothes, The Basement invites clubbers to descend underground and discover hidden gems of Eindhoven’s electronic music scene.

House Rules
We have a zero-tolerance policy
There’s no place for hate, discrimination or aggression at The Basement. Any sign of bullying, racism, sexism, ableism, shaming, homo, trans or xenophobia will result in removal from our premises.
Photo and video policy
We encourage you to enjoy the music and be fully present. A phone on the dance floor kills the vibe.
Respect our staff
Follow instructions and directions of our staff and security at all times. Any form of harassment towards our staff won’t be tolerated and will result in the removal from the premises.
Smoking or vaping indoors is prohibited
Two strikes will equal removal from the premises.
Respect the venue and the neighbourhood
Do not cause any nuisance to local residents and our living environment! Without content neighbours, we won’t be able to keep the party going.
Keep the venue and outdoors clean and don’t tag our walls.
Don’t take hard cups outside when leaving the event.
For your safety
There are cameras in various places with which image and/or sound recordings can be made. By entering the location you consent to the making, disclosure, and reproduction of these images and sound recordings.
Wear earplugs to prevent hearing damage. Forgot them? Ask our staff for a pair at the bar.
About the high
Open usage of drugs equals removal and any drugs will be confiscated and handed over to the police.
Take care of each other. If you see someone having a hard time, please notify the staff or security.
Keep the dance floor safe
And hands to yourself. Respect personal boundaries and personal space. Any unwanted physical contact or inappropriate advances towards others will result in removal from the premises.
The Basement is a card-only venue
Leave the coins in the piggy bank.
No shenanigans
It is not allowed to climb on objects or to be on/in objects inside or around our location (such as stages, fences, containers, etc.). If you cause damage of any kind during your visit, you will be held responsible for paying for this damage.
Door Policy
The minimum age to enter is 18 years.
You must always be able to show a valid ID/passport/driver’s license on request.
No proof = no entry.
We expect all visitors to be aware of and comply with the house rules.
We reserve the right to deny entry or escort individuals from the premises without
entitlement to ticket reimbursement if;
— They are visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs
— They are aggressive or cause disturbance in the line or indoors
— They openly use or deal drugs
— They carry weapons
— We reached the capacity
— There is no door sale
— There is a private event
You and your handbags will be searched upon entry.
It is prohibited to bring professional photo and video, equipment, food and drinks, fireworks, drugs, cartridges with nitrous oxide, weapons and dangerous objects, markers, animals or pets.
The door host has the right to deny access to groups larger than 4 people.
Entering the location is at your own risk.
The Basement and Area 51 are not liable for damage caused during the event and/or in
connection with the stay at our location.
The door closes at 02:00. There is no re-entry allowed between 02:00-04:00.
